The Chitrasena technique and philosophy have been passed down from generation to generation since 1944, through the Chitrasena Kalayathanaya (School of Dance). The Kalayathanaya acts the main body that feeds highly trained dancers into the Chitrasena Dance Company, which has showcased our traditional dances around the world for 8 decades. At present the school consists of teachers from 4 generations. The students are trained and watched over by Gurus who have been performing for over 50 years of their lives.
